Amateur Radio Operators from the ADMIRA Radioclub in Arad – Remarkable Achievement in the Bouvet 2026 DXpedition – 3Y0K

The Bouvet Island DXpedition 2026 – 3Y0K was undoubtedly one of the most important and highly sought-after DX events of recent years for the global amateur radio community. The extreme conditions, isolated location, and logistical challenges turned every QSO into a true achievement.

In this context, the amateur radio operators of the ADMIRA Radioclub – Arad once again demonstrated the value, experience, and determination that define this group.

Through sustained effort, technical skill, and great perseverance, an impressive number of club members succeeded in making contacts with this rare DXpedition. Moreover, some of them achieved outstanding results by completing QSOs on multiple bands and across various operating modes—clear proof of their high level of expertise and adaptability under difficult propagation conditions.

It is even more remarkable that ADMIRA Radioclub – Arad is among the few clubs in YO that can take pride in such a large number of members who managed to work this DXpedition. This reflects not only individual performance, but also strong team spirit, information sharing, and a shared passion for amateur radio.

Personally, I am proud to be part of such a collective—a group of experienced, dedicated radio amateurs united by the same passion. Achievements like these do not happen by chance; they are the result of many hours of practice, study, and collaboration.

I congratulate all members of ADMIRA Radioclub – Arad who succeeded in making these contacts, and I wish them continued outstanding achievements, rare DX contacts, and great satisfaction on the air!
